  We wish to inform you that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Central Office has two (2) vacant permanent positions with details as follows:

Office: Standards Bureau

(2) SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER III (REPUBLICATION)

Compensation : SG 18 (Php 40,637.00)

CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education : Bachelor\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s degree in Social Work

Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience

Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant training

Eligibility : RA 1080 (Social Worker)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Experience : Two (2) years of experience in any or combination of the following areas:

1.     Working with disadvantaged sectors

2.     Exposure to residential and community-based policies and program implementation

3.     Experience in networking with NGOs, LGUs, Pos, and NGAs

Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant training along the following areas:

1.     Case management, relevant laws, and policies on children, women, PWDs, Ops and families

2.     Policy/ program development. Research, technical writing skills, and data base system.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.     Assess the application for registration and licensing of sical welfare and development agencies in more than one region;

2.     Assess service providers and SWD agencies implementing SWD programs and services for accreditation;

3.     Assess applications for SEC endorsements, national fund drives, and duty-free entry of foreign donated goods;

4.     Submit reports on the result of assessment conducted;

5.     Assist in the conduct of fact-finding or investigation on cases of complaints/violations against SWD agencies;

6.     Acts in requests from field offices (Fos), OBSUs, various agencies, and organizations relative to registration, licensing and accreditation, and other regulatory concerns;

7.     Generate information for data banking along registration, licensing and accreditation of SWD agencies and service providers including national fund drives and duty-free entry of foreign donated goods; and

8.     Performs other related tasks as may be assigned.
