INFORMATION OFFICER III (Media Production Specialist)

CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education : Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience
Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant training
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education : Graduate of Communications related courses
Experience : At least two (2) years experience in web content management, development / execution of tri-media campaign and advocacy materials
Training : At least sixteen (16) hours of training in advertising, advocacy material preparation, audio visual material preparation, photo documentation, writing and/or other related areas
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCY
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut and other related programs
JOB DESCRIPTION
Creates tri-media campaign and advocacy materials for effective information dissemination of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program.
Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Develops tri-media campaign and advocacy materials
a.) Conceptualizes and executes lay-out of printed materials
b.) Mounts exhibits during special events
c.) Writes feature stories for inclusion in the IEC materials
2. Ensures presence of 4Ps in the web
a.) Manages Social Marketing’s website
b.) Seeds content into social networks
c.) Uploads information, education and communication materials in the web
3. Provides input in the development of the annual communication plan;
4. Prepares narrative reports and conducts photo documentation of special events; and
5. Conduct desk monitoring and field visits at the regional level to ensure appropriateness of lay-out and design of IEC materials
