We wish to inform you that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Central Office has one (1) vacant permanent position with details as follows:

Office: Social Technology Bureau 

PLANNING OFFICER III

CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education : Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience

Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant training

Eligibility : Career Service (Professional) / Second Level Eligibility

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education :  Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science and Allied Professions, e.g. Behavior Sciences, Management, Statistics, etc.

Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience on strategic planning, work and financial planning, providing administrative and financial management assistance to development projects; Familiar with government planning, risk management, government accounting and procurement procedures a strong advantage

Training :  Twenty-four (24) hours of relevant training in the five years on strategic planning, work and financial planning, risk management, financial management or procurement systems.

PRIMARY TASKS

1.     Prepare and monitor Bureau-level strategic plans and initiatives, work and financial plans, monthly disbursement programming and other requirement using the prescribed format of the Department;

2.     Participate in the preparation of plans for the development of SWD models of intervention;

3.     Monitor and provide technical assistance to CO and FO staff in planning and budgeting;

4.     Prepare, monitor, track and consolidate procurement plans, fund sub-allotment, notices of cash allocation and actual cash disbursements;

5.     Prepare budget forecast and forward estimates based on previous years’ trends and future plans according to ST Agenda and Strategic Plan;

6.     Participate in capability building and other activities in relation to the planning, development, pilot testing and marketing of SWD models of intervention;

7.     Submit periodic pilot accomplishment reports and inputs project updates in the Project Managment Information System (PMIS); and

8.     Perform other related tasks as directed by the Director of the Socila Technology Bureau.

Passing rate to be considered to the position shall be 75\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\%
