Job Description

 NOTICE OF VACANCY

DSWD FO XII is filling up one (1) Social Welfare Officer II position to be assigned at the Protective Division.

            Position                        :          SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER II

            Salary Grade                :          15 (31, 403.33)

            Employment Status      :          Contract of Service

 

CSC Prescribed Qualification Standards

            Education        :          Bachelor\\\'s degree in Social Work

            Training           :         4 hours relevant training

            Experience       :         1 year relevant experience

            Eligibility         :         RA 1080 (Social Work)

 

Primary functions

1. Assists in planning in the delivery of social services and programs of the section.

2. Conducts interviews, home visits, counseling, case management, and jail visit if necessary.

3. Handles court-related cases.

4. Gathers collateral information.

5. Prepares social case study reports and home study reports.

6. Prepares/submits project proposals, accomplishment reports and other related reports.

7. Refers neglected, abandoned, abused, exploited and surrendered children to institutions and other

organizations for services which deemed appropriate.

8. Represents DSWD in meetings and conferences and coordinates with other agencies.

9. Provides psychosocial intervention to cliebts who are victims/survivors of trafficking in persons.

10. Perform other related task as may be assigned.
