Job Description
We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR, National Vocational Rehabilitation Center (NVRC) has a vacant Manpower Development Officer II position SG – 15 with item no. OSEC-DSWDB-MDO2-78-2004. Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (July to December 2013):
Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)
Education : Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job
Training : Four (4) hours of relevant training
Experience : One (1) year of relevant experience
Eligibility : Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility

Primary Functions:
v Directs a small group of works in training the blind and the handicapped in industrial arts and crafts;
v Evaluates workers in the performance of their assignments;
v Provides instructions to the adult disabled or those of special groups with personality and emotional problems using special and adopted methods, techniques and advises;
v Takes periodic progress reports of the clients;
v Collaborates with other rehabilitation works in the evaluation of clients;
v Administers periodic tests and evaluation to determine level of learning and performance of clients;
v Monitors the implementation of programs and services provided;
v Acts as resource person when requested;
v Performs all other related tasks as may be assigned.
