Job Description

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work/ Bachelor of Science in Community Development/ Bachelor of Science in Development Studies, Psychology, Nursing and other Allied Social Sciences
  • Four (4) hours of training in Community Organizing and Case Management
  • At least One (1) year of experience involving community projects related to family and housing

Primary Functions:

 ·         Accomplishes Family Assessment form;

·         Prepares Family Assessment Report;

·         Conducts validation of identified beneficiaries;

·         Conducts community assembly;

·         Conducts orientation meeting to household beneficiaries based on the prescribed module;

·         Assists families in scouting interim shelter for rental;

·         Assists in the disbursement of financial assistance to household beneficiaries;

·         Attend coordination meetings to discuss issues and concerns in the project implementation and adheres to agreed solutions;

·         Establish and maintain networks and linkages with stakeholders through regular coordination;

·         Perform other related tasks as maybe assigned by the Area Supervisors.
