 Qualifications (Competency-based)

     Education     :              Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering,
     Training         :              24 Hours of relevant procurement training; must be proficient with computer                                  applications using MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and other applicable                                     softwares
     Experience  :              At least 4 years work experience rural/community Development                               Programs/Project with Procurement related functions; two years of which in                    foriegn assisted Projects; experience in facilitating procurment based on world                  bank, RA 9184 and other international funding institution; experience in                       community based procurement would be an advantage

Job Summary:

The Project Development Officer III stationed at the RPMO will oversee the compliance of the Area/Municipal Coordinating Teams (A/MCTs) in the Implementation of Procurement System as prescribed in the Community Based Procurement Manual (CBPM) through (i) provision of appropriate technical assistance to the members of the ACT/MCTs in setting-up systems and processes for fiduciary control; (iii) review of NOL requests and endorse appropriate actions; (iv) exercising QA and QC directly over the community procurement actions and activities; (v) consolidate and prepare reports on the results of expost fiduciary review and on the status of procurement activities; and, (vi) monitor and update status of contracts awarded for web disclosure of procurement actions
