Job Description

 Conducts regular visits to FOs, Centers/Institution, LGUs, NGO and Pos, provides technical assistance through consultations, dialogues, conferences and training; prepares and submits feedback reports for managerial actions and decisions; provides technical assistance to retained staff, LGUs, Pos, and other intermediaries on social Welfare concerns; prepares and reviews plans and periodic reports; conducts TNAs and training/capability building activities; PREWs; packages training program for intermediaries; assists management in net working and resource generation; provides technical supervision to SWO IIs and other staff implementing social welfare programs and services; translates/interprets programs  policies and guidelines; assesses and recommends for accreditation DCCs and oversees NGOs implementing social welfare programs; reviews/assesses SCSRs and project proposal; conducts orientation and supervises students and volunteers; facilitates research study; mobilizes and generates resources; acts as resource person; acts as area monitor on special projects; represents the supervisor I committee meetings, conferences and social welfare related activities as may be delegated.Provides technical assistance and monitors Field Offices, Centers/Institutions. LGUs, NGOs, and Pos, in the implementation of Social Welfare and development programs and services; evaluates implementation of programs; recommends undertaking of action research projects, trainings programs, strategies/approaches for a more effective program implementation and/or assists the SWO V; does other related work.
