JOB DESCRIPTION | |
To be part of a team providing an efficient and effective Development Management service. Encouraging development proposals, processing, planning and monitoring disaster-related reports, while acting within delegated responsibilities. Ensure internally coordination within the Department of Social Welfare and Development and externally with other Government Offices (GOs), stakeholders, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) and other partners. To undertake additional duties as required, commensurate with the level of the job.
A. Primary Tasks: 1. Supports the creation, management, distribution, publishing and discovery of organizational information. 2. Researches and anticipates organizational needs to ensure OBSU can adequately respond to emerging needs and processes. 3. Knows community leaders to discuss issues on local policies and procedures that might affect or impact program implementation to come up with agreements/resolutions. 4. Develops training/activity proposals. 5. Knows where to seek support for planned interventions. Communicates effectively with partners and individuals within and outside DSWD. 6. Gathers, validates, consolidates and summarizes data as a report using a standard format that captures both qualitative and quantitative information. Documents and articulates policies, processes and procedures accurately and in a tone and language that the intended users can follow. 7. Presents appropriate and complete information (qualitative and quantitative) in a clear and concise manner that ensure reports are complete, comprehensive and easy to understand. 8. Generates reports and analysis of all disaster/incidents through the database system 9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor, DReAMB Assistant Bureau Director (ABD) and Bureau Director (BD).
