Preferred Qualification Standards

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Development Communications

Experience

2 years and above of experience in report writing and content development

Training

At least (8) hours training related to Disaster Risk Reduction and Management

Additional Requirements

1.       With good written and oral communication skills;

2.       Domain Knowledge on web content management, data analysis and information representation;

3.       Proficient with Office productivity, web content management systems and operation center ICT equipment;

4.       Able to work harmoniously, competently and effectively even under pressure; and

5.       Willing to be deployed in Disaster Areas 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The IO III shall develop DRRM information products based on captured data. Prepare reports, visualizations, graphs, charts and dashboards, and develop related content on new media. The IO III shall manage the DRRM content in the website. The task may include field work during disaster operations.

 

EXPECTED OUTPUTS:

Ø  Daily Staff Operations Report

Ø  DRRM Related Reports on new media

Ø  Ensure updates on the DRRM website

Ø  Technical assistance to Field offices

Ø  Actively Participate in DREAMB and Response Cluster Activities
