Job Description

We wish to inform you that the DSWD-National Capital Region is inviting applicants for the vacant positions with details as follows:

 

 A.      Position                                        :               One (1)  Houseparent IV

Place of Assignment                :               Jose Fabella Center

Salary Grade                               :               11

Compensation                           :               Php 18,549.00

 

B.  Minimum Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

                                                                                                                                                                                               

Education                            :               2nd year College Midwifery/ Nursing/ Behavioral Courses

Training                               :               Sixteen (16) hours of relevant training

Experience                          :               Three (3) years of relevant experience with supervising

experience

Eligibility                             :               None required (MC 11, s.96 – CAT. III) 

 

Primary Functions:

               

v  Supervise homelife staff in program implementation

v  Review and analyze existing rehabilitation program and policies of the institutions.

v  Assist in the preparation of operational plan, work plan, and accomplishment report in the homelife service.

v  Coordinates with other disciplines in the implementation of rehabilitative programs for clients.

v  Prepares and submits schedule of assignments and duties of Homelife service staff

v  Review performance ratings for all homelife staff as prepared by the supervising houseparent.

v  Performs other incidental functions

Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (January to December 2014):    

 

Request for extension of submission will not be entertained.  Applicants who failed to submit the complete requirements are considered disqualified. In view of the volume of applications received by the Department only qualified applicants shall be notified for examinations.
