We wish to inform you that the DSWD-National Capital Region is inviting applicants for the vacant positions with details as follows:
A. Position : One (1) Social Welfare Officer II
Place of Assignment : Standards Unit
Salary Grade : 15
Item Number : OSEC-DSWDB-SOCWO2-383-2004
Compensation : Php 24,887.00
B. Minimum Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Social Work
Training : Four (4) hours of relevant training
Experience : One (1) year of relevant experience
Eligibility : RA 1080 (Social Worker)
C. Job Additional Requirements/ Additional Competencies:
Training : Four (4) hours of training along technical writing, data
analysis and management or training relevant to
accreditation.
Experience : One (1) year experience on case management,
Accreditation and data management
Competencies : Case Counseling; Case Management; Technical Writing;
Planning & Organizing; Research Skills; Collaboration & Networking; Proficiency in Computer programs
Primary Functions:
v Assists in implementing social welfare development programs and services of the unit;
v Leads, organizes and works directly with the team, demonstrate skills and conducts group work activities.
v Prepares and submits project proposals, case studies and other reports;
v Accomplishes social case study reports/ project proposals and other reportorial requirements.
v Coordinates with NGOs in terms of implementing social welfare development programs and services and monitors its regulations.
