Job Description
We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR, Convergence Management Unit has a vacant SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER II position SG – 15 under a Memorandum of Agreement with monthly compensation rate of Php24, 887.00.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
Experience : With one (1) year relevant experience
Training : At least 4 hours of relevant training
Eligibility : RA 1080 (Registered Social Worker)
Additional Requirements/Competencies:
- Has an excellent grasp of national and region-specific poverty conditions, current anti-poverty initiatives and different approaches to poverty reduction;
- Has strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated capacity to undertake capability building activities using different approaches, including mentoring, coaching, and others;
- Proficient oral and written communication in English and Filipino;
- Can work under minimum supervision; and
- Proficient in MS Office applications
Primary Functions:
v Assist in the day-to-day convergence operations in his / her area of assignment;
v Assist in the administration of the Social Welfare Indicator;
v Act as social case manager in the areas where the Pantawid Pamilya City Link is not a Registered Social Worker and submit reports in the status as such;
v Provide interventions on Protective Services for those households found in level 1 and 2:
v Monitor the Municipal Action Teams including Team’s accomplishments based in its plans;
v With the City Links and Administrative Assistant III collate the Municipal Action Plans for submission to the RPMO; and
v Perform other ad hoc tasks as may be assigned by the Regional Convergence Coordinator.
