Job Description

 We wish to inform you that the DSWD-National Capital Region is inviting applicants for the vacant positions with details as follows:

 

SANCTUARY CENTER

 

A.    Position                             :           One (1)  Houseparent III

Salary Grade                    :           09

Item Number                    :           OSEC-DSWDB-HP3-108-2004

Compensation                  :           Php 16,051

 

B.  Minimum Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)                                                               

Education                   :           2nd Year College /Midwifery/Behavioral Courses

Training                     :           Eight (8) hours of relevant training

Experience                 :           Two (2) years of relevant experience

Eligibility                   :           None Required (MC 11, S. ’96 Cat. 111)

 

 

C.   Preferred Qualifications/ Competencies:

 

Training                     :           At least eight (8) hours training relevant to effective

parenting, home management, etc.

 

Experience                 :           Two (2) years experience along caregiving &

houseparenting in mental/ health welfare institutions

Primary Functions:

 

v  Supervises and monitors activities of homelife staff.

v  Supervises the program implementation of homelife services. 

v  Prepares and submits periodic reports of homelife service, schedule of staff assignments and their off duties.

v  Prepares periodic performance evaluation of the staff.

v  Participate in the preparation of yearly “Plan”

v  Models spiritual, moral values, organizational values, work ethics to peers and wards.

v  Performs other related tasks as may be assigned

Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (July to December 2013) for permanent and from January to November 2014:    

 

Request for extension of submission will not be entertained.  Applicants who failed to submit the complete requirements are considered disqualified.
