Job Description

 A. Position                                : Project Development Officer III

Salary Grade                 : SG-18

Compensation               : Php 31,351.00

Place of Assignment     : Gender and Development Unit

 

B. Qualification Standards

Education               : Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job

Experience              : Two (2) years of relevant experience

Training                   : Eight (8) hours of relevant training

 

C.  Job Specific Requirements:

Education               : Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Social Work, Community Development, Women’s Studies, Law and Education

Experience              : Two (2) year experience of progressive work experience in social development

Training                   : Undergone a Basic Gender Sensitivity Training

 

Job Summary:

 

Assist the National GAD Focal Person in ensuring that a Gender and Development perspective is mainstreamed in all stages of Pantawid Program implementation.

 

Job Description:

·         Ensures that a GAD perspective is mainstreamed in the implementation of policies, projects, activities and services that shall ensure the twin goals of women empowerment and gender equality.

·         Safeguards the usage of the five (5) percent Pantawid GAD budget and see to it that it is utilized accordingly.

·         Ensures that all GAD policies and programs of the agency are adopted and implemented in the NPMO.

·         Submits periodic GAD accomplishment reports and together with the regular agency GAD focal peron, comes up with an annual GAD plan and Budget which should be integrated in the annual Work and Financial Plan.

·         Engages partners and other agencies involved in the program implementation and influence them to become GAD partners and advocates; and

·         Performs other tasks as may be directed by higher authorities.
