 We wish to inform you that the DSWD-National Capital Region is inviting applicants for the vacant positions under the Regional Juvenile Justice Welfare Committee (RJJWC) Field Office with details as follows: 

 

A.  Position                             :           One (1) Social Welfare Officer III

Salary Grade                    :           18

B.  Minimum Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

Job Summary:

 

The Social Welfare Officer III shall be the focal person of the RJJWC in the region, providing assistance and support to the RJJWC in performing is mandate, duties and functions, in accordance with RA 9344 as amended and its IRR. He /she oversees the implementation of programs, projects and activities identifies in the RJJWC work and financial plan. He / she likewise coordinates with the RJJWC member agencies, with other partners and stakeholders at the LGU levels, and with the National Secretariat.

 

                       

Primary Functions:

 

v  Provide coordinating, monitoring and technical assistance to the Provincial / City / Municipality counterpart relative to their function to ensure implementation of the law  at the regional and local level;

v  Perform advocacy functions;

v  Prepare the Quarterly, Semestral, Annual and other Reports (as may be determined by the JJWC) for the RJJWC to be submitted to the JJWC National Secretariat;

v  Prepare the Work and Financial Plan of the RJJWC to be submitted to the JJWC National Secretarial;

v  Regularly coordinate and consult with the National Secretariat

v  Perform such other functions and tasks, as may be determined by the RJJWC and the JJWC; and

v  Initiate / coordinate research / study on the situation / incidence of CICL.

Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (July to December 2013):
