Job Description

We wish to inform you that DSWD-NCR, Golden Reception and Action Center for the Elderly and other Special Cases (GRACES) has a vacant MEDICAL OFFICER III position SG 21 (Php 39, 493.00) under Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).  Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (January to June 2014):     

                                          

 

      Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

 

Education        :           Doctor of Medicine

Training           :           Four (4) hours relevant training         

Experience      :           One (1) year relevant experience

Eligibility        :           RA 1080 (Physician)

Primary Functions:

 

·   Plans and directs activities of medical staff.

·   Conducts physical and medical examination to clients/staff/dependents.

·   Formulates medical assessment/diagnosis.

·   Provides medical intervention.

·   Makes necessary referrals and laboratory requests to appropriate agencies/hospitals.

·   Accommodates medical/psychiatrics referrals from other centers/institution/agencies.

·   Prepares and maintains updated clinical records of clients.

·   Conducts orientation and supervises active net working with resource agencies.

·   Certifies physical fitness of clients.

·   Acts as medical adviser to the head of the center.

·   Maintains adequate facilities and equipment needed by the medical services. 

·   Attends meetings; and

·   Submits necessary reports.
