Job Description
     A.   Position                                   : Information Officer III             Salary Grade                         : SG-18 Compensation                      : Php 31,351.00   B. Preferred Qualification Standards Education         : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Information Management  or degree relevant to the job Experience       : At least 2 years professional experience in editing and proofreading corporate communication documents for public dissemination, infographics, presentation reports, PRs, strategic communications, content management and social marketing ; experience in managing projects, involvement in big/complex projects, and/or in disaster information management. Training            : Eight (8) hours of relevant training in areas related to disaster response and or information management is preferred   Job Description: Supports the creation, management, distribution, publishing and discovery of organizational information. Knows community leaders to discuss issues on local policies and procedures that might affect or impact program implementation to come up with agreements/resolutions. Establishes linkages with information sources to respond to public need through constant working relationship. Connects with data users towards the continued improvement of OBSU output. Organizes content to ensure logical flow of information/data and uses appropriate transitions between major points. Anticipates data needs of recipients and captures these on the report. Provides strong and logical evidence to back up observations, conclusions and recommendations. Reviews and edits team members output and guides towards improving output using established standards. Uses correct grammar, sentence structure, style and format in writing reports. Validates accuracy and consistency of data gathered prior to inclusion in the report.   The position may require completion of additional tasks as assigned by the Secretary, Assistant Secretary for OSEC Group and or Program Manager.   Deadline of application and submission of the following is on November 4, 2014: ·         Application letter; ·         Comprehensive resume with job description and 2x2 ID picture; and ·         Certificate of relevant trainings and seminars attended (to be submitted upon the scheduled exam and interview)   If applicable, qualified applicants must also submit copy of duly signed Summary of Rating of Performance Contract Assessment for the period July- December 2013.
