B.    Minimum Qualification Standards

Education         :  Bachelor’s Degree

Experience        :  Three (3) years of supervisory experience

C.    Job Specific Requirements:

Education         :  Masters degree or equivalent in Social Science, Management and related fields

Experience        :  At least three (3) years of experience in supervisory or managerial position.

Training             :  At least 60 hours of relevant training (e.g. management and supervision, leadership, program management, policy development and review, and planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation) 

 

Job Summary

 The Director III/ Assistant Regional Director shall contribute to the efficient and effective operationalization and delivery of services by providing management assistance in program implementation, monitoring, and networking with relevant program stakeholders.

 

He/ she is expected to support the Director IV/ Regional Director in managing and coordinating the work and monitoring and evaluation, as well as work extensively with various local government unit partners in the implementation of the program’s development processes.

 

Job Description:

 

1.     Assists the Regional Director in giving direction on planning, implementation and evaluation of SWD programs.

2.     Act as Deputy Regional Project Manager of all core programs/ projects of DSWD and lead the strengthening and operationalization of convergence strategies.

3.     Act as the OIC Regional Director whenever the RD is on official business or on leave of absence.

4.     Chairperson of all the different committees of the Region such as AG-AC, PRAISE,CODI, Grievance, PDC, GAD, PSB, and Staff Selection Committee for NCDDP

5.     Alternate of RD in all Regional Inter-Agency Meetings.

6.     Chairperson of the Regional Technical Working Group on GPB implementation.

7.     Chairperson of the Regional Technical Working Group on CSO Engagement.

8.     Coordinates and facilitates the participation of GOs/NGOs in implementing programs and services.

9.     Assists in the preparation of the regional annual budget proposal and recommends budget allocation for the implementation of programs and services.

10.  Assists in the monitoring and control of field operations including institutions and other regional facilities.

11.  Recommends improvements in the systems and procedures for a more effective and efficient implementation of services.
