 We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR is inviting applicants for the vacant position of Social Welfare Officer V: 

 

Ø  One (1)  Social Welfare Officer V

 

Salary Grade/Salary     :           24 {Php 49,750.00}

Education       :           Bachelor’s degree in social work

Primary Functions:

 

v  Oversees over-all center operation and social welfare program implementation.

v  Executes and implements policies and programs, regulation and work decision within the limit of delegated authority.

v  Maintain cooperative and harmonious relationship with other entities and agencies public and private in the promotion of community development and welfare.

v  Make representation for the allocation of program fund necessary in implementing the DSWD program.

v  Renders technical assistance relative to program implementation and networking management.

v  Innovate strategies to enhance technical assistance monitoring and advocacy efforts.

v  Taps and mobilizes community resources.

v  Links with devolved social workers and LGEs for children welfare referrals.

v  Collaborates with academe thru provisions of social work laboratory setting for social work students on field placement.

v  Conduct regular supervisory conference (individual or group) with the staff to ensure their growth, better understanding and interpretation of functions and programs.

v  Submit periodic and special reports.

v  May perform other related tasks.
