Job Description
We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR, Special Project Section is inviting applicants for the following vacant positions under the Comprehensive Program for Street Children, Street Families and Indigenous People especially Bajaus.
Ø Four (4) Project Development Officer III
Salary Grade/Salary : 18 {Php31, 351.00}

Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Community Development or Allied Social Science Courses
Training : Twenty four (24) hours of relevant training in Community Organizing, Community Development, Early Child Care Development and Child Protection Program
Experience : Two (2) year experience working with street families and Indigenous People
Eligibility : Preferably with Career Service Professional/ Second Level Eligibility
Additional Requirements/Competencies:
Program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
Training management and documentation;
Community organizing and community-driven development; Proficient oral and written communication in Tagalog and in English language; Speaking ability in IP dialect is an advantage;
Personal Effectiveness
Computer literacy;
Willing to travel
Primary Functions:
v Provides inputs for the effective and efficient implementation of the project at the regional level;
v Implements and monitors project activities based on the Approved Work Plan (AWP);
v Assists in the conduct of evaluation conference on project implementation; v Attends meetings / conference and similar activities in relation to project implementation;
v Prepares and submits project proposals, technical reports and other documentations to the Regional Director, DSWD-STB and/ or other concerned agencies;
v Participates in the formulation of criteria for the selection of beneficiaries and mapping tools;
v Conducts community organizing and social preparation for the Relocations Project for Street Families and Bajaus before, during and after relocation;
v Assesses and assists beneficiaries, and conduct activities relative to the provision of livelihood assistance, capital assistance, balik probinsya assistance, and educational assistance to street children, street families, and IPs. Especially Bajaus;
v Takes charge in the technical and administrative aspects of the capability building trainings for service providers and for families;
v Coordinates with Local Government Units and Non-Government Organizations for partnerships and collaboration;
v Assists, facilitates and documents the conduct of workshops, trainings, camping, and other activities as necessary;
v Prepares and consolidates profile of beneficiaries;
v Prepares and submits activity documentation and feedback reports not more than 5 working days after actual conduct of trainings to the Regional Director and STB;
v Monitors and provides technical assistance to LGUs in the implementation of the project; Performs other project-related tasks that would contribute to the effective and efficient implementation of the project.
