Job Description

We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR, Rehabilitation Sheltered Workshop is inviting applicants for the one vacant position of Social Welfare Assistant.

 

Ø  One (1)  Social Welfare Assistant  

 

Salary Grade/Salary     :           08 {Php 14,931.00}

Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

                                                                                                                                               

Education       : Completion of two-year studies in college  

Training          : Four (4) hours relevant training         

Experience      : One (1) year relevant experience

Eligibility         : Career Service Sub-Professional/First Level Eligibility

Primary Functions:

 

v  Takes inventory of supplies/ materials equipment.

v  Operates custody of supplies/ equipment.

v  Keeps records of stock received issued on hand.

v  Reports shortages and damages/unserviceable supplies and materials

v  Prepares, receives and store documents such as delivery receipts, bills and statements.

v  Reviews and records incoming and outgoing correspondence and gives them to immediate supervisor for classification.

v  Reviews, sort records, copies and stamps incoming correspondence from institutions/ centers and refers to divisions concerned.

v  Keeps and maintains files of all records and documents.

v  Sorts and index all records pertaining to the different institutions/ centers.

v  Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

·         Valid PRC Report of Rating and License (if applicable)

·         Civil Service Certificate of Eligibility (if applicable)

 

Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (January to June 2014):    

 

Request for extension of submission will not be entertained.  Applicants who failed to submit the complete requirements are considered disqualified.
