Job Description

We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR, Elsie Gaches Village is inviting applicants for the following vacant positions: 

 

Ø  One (1)  Social Welfare Officer II

 

Salary Grade/Salary   :           15 {Php 24,887.00}

Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

                                                                                                                                               

Education                  :           Bachelor’s degree in Social Work

Training                     :           Four (4) hours of relevant training

Experience                :           One (1) year of relevant experience

Eligibility                  :           RA 1080 (Social Worker)

General Function:

 

v  Conducts interviews, home visits, case counseling, case management conferences;

v  Gathers collateral information;

v  Accomplishes social case study reports of clients; attends hearing and testifies in court

v  Prepares/ submits project proposals, case studies and other reports; refers neglected, abandoned, abused and exploited children to institutions and for foster care.

v  Performs other tasks that may be assigned

Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (July to December 2013):
