Job Description

We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR, DSWD-NCR, Golden Reception and Action Center for Elderly and other Special Cases (GRACES) has a vacant Medical Officer III under a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), SG –21 with a monthly compensation rate of Php 39, 493.00.

 

 

Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

 

v  Doctor of Medicine

v  Must be a Registered Physician (RA 1080)

v  At least four (4) hours of relevant training

v  At least one (1) year of relevant experience

Primary Functions:

 

v  Conducts physical and medical examination and gives medical service to clients, staff and dependents of the center;

v  Formulates medical evaluation of clients both active and graduates regarding the results of the medical check-up;

v  Participates as a member of the Rehabilitation Team of the center in relation to clients rehabilitation goals;

 

v  Makes necessary medical referrals and laboratory request to appropriate agencies/hospitals;

v  Certifies physical fitness of clients;

v  Acts as medical adviser to the head of the center;

v  Plans and directs activities of medical staff;

v  Maintains adequate facilities and equipment needed by the medical services;

v  Performs other related functions as may be assigned by the head of the center.
